Now it is all about existing into the next day and finding happiness when you can. Physical Description: With piercing blue eyes and a natural summer presence Aryn is your typical girl next door with striking features and a heart of gold. Always one for the outdoors she in essence learned to climb the trees and run with her older brothers before learning to walk. At least that was the story her parents used to tell. Distinguishing Marks: A tattoo of the Tree of Life between her shoulder blades, in the center of her back and the word Love in Hebrew tattooed on her right wrist. Sexual Orientation: Straight Single or taken: Single Best friend: Kestral Personality: Aryn is a very laid back type of girl, hardly ever has she grown angry and is always one for avoiding confrontation. Having grown up in a large household Aryn was taught to interact well with others from day one. She prefers to be a follower rather than a leader, maybe that has something to do with always having others to be her support group, someone was always there to take her hand and show the world to her. It was only after the death of her parents that she found a strength within, something that had always been there but rather buried beneath childish insecurities and the comfort of others. Personal History: Her father was the typical blonde hair, blue eyed boy from Kansas while her mother was the beautiful girl that grew up going to Temple and respecting her elders. The pair met at college in California and after a whirlwind romance a marriage was to follow against the wishes of her family. They wanted nothing more than for their daughter to marry a nice Jewish boy but family ties smoothed over after the birth of the first-born grandson. The newly wed couple found a happy little town in Utah and while Mary opened a quant bridal shop Michael joined on at the local hospital as a surgeon. First born into the Gibson clan was Michael Jr., a beautiful boy who was the spitting image of his father, three years later John and Joshua were born and just when the family thought that their home couldn't get any busier another little boy by the name of Tobias was conceived. After much deliberation and consideration Michael and Mary Gibson agreed that a vasectomy would be for the best Michael made an appointment for the last week in September but the day of his appointment Mary announced to her husband and their four beautiful boys that a new baby brother or sister would be joining the family. Mary was a few months pregnant and soon she and Michael learned that their prayers of a little girl had finally been answered. As the years passed the bouncing beauty known as Aryn Ruth grew into a quick spirited young lady. With the death of Grandpa Goldman the family welcomed their grandmother into their home that in turn helped to raise the children while Michael and Mary were away at work. Aryn always under foot, watching and learning from her grandmother, she learned to sew and cook all before the age of thirteen. It was around this time that Aryn found herself starting her second year of middle school and began sharing a locker next to a girl named Marianne Evans. The two spoke on occasion but nothing too serious. On a windy November day however Aryn found herself staring at a shaggy haired boy across the room in her World History class. His name was Marlon Evans and he was the twin brother of Marianne Evans, the girl that Aryn had barely spoken more than two words to before. And with girlish dreams of attending the school dance with the boy who would also push his hair from his ocean blue eyes Aryn put aside her lack of need for another friend in this world and began making small talk with the girl who shared the locker next to hers. Though that date to the school dance never happened the two girls learned that contrary to their previous presumptions of one another they actually had a lot in common and quickly grew to be best friends. Aryn however never spoke of her original intentions when it came to befriending Marianne. Upon the start of high school Aryn quickly joined the track and swim team along with chorus. She like her best friend was always very active, which might have had something to do with an upbringing of four older brothers. But she never once forgot how to be a girl who loved the gentle smell of a soft burning candle or taking a moment to dance in the falling rain when no one was looking. Soon enough though Aryn's world would begin turning upside down. First was when her eldest brother, Michael Jr. announced his engagement to a girl that Aryn had yet to meet and approve. Followed by the twins graduating from colleges across the country and Tobias joining the Marines. Her brothers were growing up and Aryn felt very much left behind in her ever-changing world. Little did she know that the world would hold many more shocking truths for her. Within months of the Gibson family disbanding Grandma Ruth (Aryn's middle name was in honor of her grandmother) grew to be deathly ill as a result of old age and within weeks Aryn grieved as she watched a coffin containing her grandmother being lowered into the ground. This was all during the rumored existence of the Ans Pathogen and before the family could discuss the issue Michael and Mary Gibson joined their neighbors, the Evans as they wished to save their children of the heartache and grief of losing their parents to any early grave. It wasn't long before the pathogen mutated though and took the lives of Mr. and Mrs. Gibson. With an uncertain future and an unsure existence of her remaining family Aryn agreed to leave all that she had once loved and all that she had suddenly lost. Gathering a duffle bag of clothes and a few keep sake belongings Aryn began walking along side of her best friend, soon a group had formed as others joined and all headed out of town in the direction of Canada. While others chose to call themselves by other names Aryn opted to keep her name, she is very proud of her ancestry, her parents, her brothers, and who she was before the Ans Virus took control.
